Ahoy fellow explorers! I’ve discovered buried treasure and absolutely must share it with you! It’s a super scrumptious soup that is surprisingly sweet and savory. (Can you tell that this captain likes alliterations?)
This soup is delightfully easy to make and tasty while also hauling quite the nutrition cargo. It calls for wonderful, whole ingredients that will nourish both your body and mind. Our super star of sweet potatoes really shines when combined with cinnamon, paprika and tomato. If you’re looking for something to do with sweet potatoes other than just steaming them, I highly recommend giving this recipe a try!
Some things I personally adjusted was using 3+ celery stalks, having fun with adding more cinnamon to taste and using tomato paste instead of tomato sauce. Unfortunately I forgot I only had tomato paste so I combined it with an equal part of water, some salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder. Nonetheless, this soup was amazing and it’ll definitely be part of my recipe crew from now on.
